Summary:
Accenture is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide AMS and production support for Red Lion Crimson-based HMI and Industrial Communication Systems, including Crimson 3.0, Crimson 3.1, and Crimson 3.2. The role involves supporting HMI applications, industrial communication protocols, controller integrations, and data acquisition solutions used in manufacturing and industrial environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide L2/L3 support for Crimson HMI applications and industrial communication systems.
Troubleshoot HMI, controller, and device communication issues.
Support configuration, maintenance, and deployment of Crimson applications.
Diagnose protocol, connectivity, and data acquisition issues.
Perform minor enhancements, configuration updates, and application changes.
Support system upgrades, patching, and testing activities.
Coordinate with plant operations, OT, engineering, and automation teams.
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.
Ensure adherence to SLA, KPI, and ITIL support processes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills
5-6 years of Application Support / Industrial Automation experience.
Hands-on experience with Crimson 3.0, 3.1, or 3.2.
Experience supporting Red Lion HMIs, Graphite HMIs, G3 Panels, or Data Station Plus.
Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC DA/UA, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, or serial communications.
PLC-HMI integration and troubleshooting experience.
Experience in AMS/Production Support environments.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Good to Have Skills
SCADA platforms such as Ignition, AVEVA/Wonderware, or FactoryTalk.
Industrial Networking and OT Infrastructure.
Historian systems (PI, IP.21, etc.).
Multi-vendor PLC experience (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, ABB).
Additional Information:
Experience in Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, or Process Industries preferred.
Knowledge of industrial automation architectures and OT environments is highly desirable.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills required.
