Job Summary:
· The CMM & VMS operator is responsible for the measurement of all products (Injection molded parts, Assembly parts & tool manufacturing electrode & Steel) to the customer’s specification. They are also responsible for the calibration of the fixture& Measuring devices. This position is critical to the mold development and tuning process.
Job Description:
1. Operate and program CMM machines Zeiss using software such as Calypso.
2. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and 3D CAD models.
3. Perform layout inspection.
4. Record and analyze inspection data prepare and maintain inspection reports.
5. Support PPAP, FAI, SPC, and capability studies as needed.
6. Maintain calibration status and cleanliness of inspection equipment.
7. Work closely with the production and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues.
8. Identify and report non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
9. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inspection methods and processes.
