Assystem in India is a full-service design, engineering and project delivery consultancy. Assystem first came to India having acquired Stup Consultants Pvt Ltd in July 2021 and formed Assystem Stup. This strategic move enabled us to establish a footprint in India and significantly contribute to the development of energy sector – such as grids and nuclear power – and infrastructure sector, particularly in transportation, water and urban development. Assystem’s internationally recognised expertise in low-carbon technologies and complex project management, paired with Stup’s extensive experience in transportation, urban and water infrastructures, civil engineering, etc. positions Assystem in India as a leading Engineering Design and Project Management company in the country.
In January 2024, Assystem Stup expanded further by acquiring Larsen & Toubro Infrastructure Engineering Limited, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, to form Assystem in India. This acquisition strengthened our workforce and capabilities by expanding Assystem in India’s offer services to areas like Ports, Geotech, Urban Planning & Development, alongside the existing energy, infrastructure and transport sectors.
