✅ Key Responsibilities
SAP PP (Production Planning)
- Configure and support Discrete, Process, and Repetitive Manufacturing processes.
- Handle MRP, Capacity Planning, Routing, Work Centers, BOM setups.
- Implement and optimize Production Orders, Planning Strategies, and Demand Management.
- Integrate PP with MM, SD, QM, and PM modules.
- Support Shop Floor Control, scheduling, and execution processes.
- Analyze and resolve production-related issues and discrepancies.
- Provide solutions for S/4HANA PP Simplifications (e.g., MRP Live, advanced planning).
SAP QM (Quality Management)
- Configure Inspection Types, Quality Planning, Results Recording, Usage Decisions.
- Manage Quality Notifications, production and procurement-based inspections.
- Support Stability Studies, Quality Certificates, and Sampling Procedures.
- Integrate QM with PP, MM, PM, and SD modules.
- Set up In-Process Inspections, Final Inspection, Vendor Quality processes.
- Handle QM Master Data (MICs, Catalogs, Sampling, Inspection Plans).
General Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and prepare functional specifications.
- Coordinate with ABAP teams for RICEF objects (Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces).
- Support SIT, UAT, training, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and optimize end‑to‑end PP/QM processes.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or support projects.
✅ Required Skills
Functional Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and SAP QM configuration.
- Understanding of manufacturing execution flows and quality standards.
- Solid knowledge of MRP, SFC, Inspection Lot Processing, and Notifications.
- Experience in integration with MM, SD, PM, WM/EWM modules.
Technical Exposure (Good to Have)
- Understanding of BAPI, BADI, and enhancement frameworks.
- Knowledge of Fiori apps for PP/QM in S/4HANA.
- Ability to write/validate FS for RICEFW objects.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.
- Ability to work independently or lead teams (for senior roles).
✅ Experience Range Expectations
4–7 Years
- Hands-on configuration of PP/QM modules.
- Ability to support enhancements and small projects independently.
- Exposure to S/4HANA preferred.
8–12 Years
- Deep understanding of complex manufacturing processes.
- Ability to lead modules in implementations/rollouts.
- Strong integration experience.
12–15 Years
- Solution architecting and process design.
- Leading teams and guiding junior consultants.
- Driving business transformation initiatives.
✅ Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- SAP PP or SAP QM certification (preferred).
- Experience in S/4HANA greenfield/brownfield projects.
