About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer – Flutter with strong iOS and CarPlay experience to build and maintain a production mobile application.
The role combines Flutter/Dart development with native iOS development in Swift, with a focus on next-generation content experiences, connected-car features, voice-enabled experiences, and measurable improvements in app performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Work with native iOS technologies using Swift.
- Build and enhance CarPlay applications and connected-car experiences.
- Develop voice-enabled experiences including Siri Shortcuts and voice control.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Build new content-app experiences and support existing mobile products.
- Improve application performance, stability, reliability, and user engagement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Monitor production metrics such as crash rate, startup time, and engagement.
- Maintain the application through iOS upgrades and API deprecations.
- Work with state-management approaches such as Bloc, Provider, or Riverpod.
- Collaborate through Git, technical discussions, standups, and regular team connects.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience across Flutter/Dart and native iOS development.
- Strong experience with Swift and the iOS SDK.
- Experience with UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Strong understanding of Flutter state management, including Bloc, Provider, or Riverpod.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Experience with CarPlay and connected-car applications.
- Experience with voice-enabled mobile experiences such as Siri Shortcuts.
- Experience maintaining a production application for more than one year.
- Experience working on applications handling 10K+ DAU.
- A metrics-driven approach to improving performance, stability, and engagement.
- Strong Git and software development practices.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has operated a production mobile application for more than a year and has demonstrated measurable improvements in areas such as startup time, crash rate, stability, or user engagement.
Work Arrangement
This is a remote contract position. The successful candidate should be willing to spend up to 10 days in the office during onboarding and actively participate in standups, technical discussions, weekly connects, and asynchronous collaboration.
Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
