About Sol's ARC
Sol's ARC is a non-profit organization that works to ensure every child learns and every adult earns. We support Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through inclusive education, vocational training, and livelihood opportunities.
Our Rural Livelihood Program started in Gujarat in 2022 with support from the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The program helps Persons with Disabilities access government schemes, improve their skills, and build sustainable livelihoods. The program is now expanding to more states.
As a Field Officer, you will play an important role in delivering this program in villages.
About the Role
This is a field-based role. You will work closely with Persons with Disabilities, their families, village leaders, government officials, and community groups.
Your main responsibility is to support beneficiaries by conducting surveys, organizing camps, helping them access government schemes, and maintaining field records.

Visit villages and households to collect beneficiary information.

Conduct baseline surveys and understand the livelihood needs of beneficiaries.

Record and submit survey data accurately and on time.

Visit beneficiaries and encourage them to attend meetings and camps.

Help organize disability assessment camps and government scheme camps.

Coordinate with government officials and local stakeholders before and during camps.

Ensure camps run smoothly and maintain records of beneficiaries who attend.

Help beneficiaries collect and submit the required documents.

Support beneficiaries in applying for government schemes and benefits.

Follow up with government offices until applications are completed.

Inform the Program Manager if there are delays or challenges.

Build good relationships with Panchayats, village leaders, and community members.

Support the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

Maintain accurate records of surveys, camps, and government scheme applications.

Submit regular reports to the Program Manager.
You will be successful in this role if:

Who We're Looking For

Experience working in rural communities is required.
