Department: Shell Room / Coating
Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced and result-oriented professionals for Coating Manager and Coating Supervisor positions in an Investment Casting Foundry. Candidates should have strong expertise in shell room operations, slurry preparation, refractory materials, shell quality control, and defect prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise shell room & coating operations
Monitor slurry viscosity, stucco sizing, pH levels & drying conditions
Maintain shell room temperature & humidity control systems
Handle refractory materials such as zircon, alumina, colloidal silica & ceramic flour
Prevent shell defects like cracking, spalling, shell breakage & metal penetration
Ensure proper shell coating and drying sequence
Improve shell strength, coating consistency & production efficiency
Coordinate with production and quality teams for process optimization
Train and guide shell room manpower
Maintain quality documentation and process records
Educational Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Materials Science
Experience & Salary:
COATING MANAGER
Experience: 8 to 10 Years
Salary: Up to ₹1.50 Lakh Per Month
COATING SUPERVISOR
Experience: 3 to 4 Years
Salary: Up to ₹70,000 Per Month
Reporting Structure:
Coating Manager Reporting to Director
Coating Supervisor Reporting to Coating Manager / Director
Job Timing: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekly Off: Monday
