- Plan and ensure the availability of drivers and loadmen as per daily dispatch and material movement requirements.
- Coordinate transportation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished knitwear products to meet production and delivery schedules.
- Arrange vehicles and manpower for timely loading, unloading, and dispatch operations.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, permits, insurance, and statutory compliance.
- Supervise loading and unloading activities to ensure safe handling and prevent material damage.
- Verify dispatch quantities, delivery documents, invoices, challans, and transport records.
- Optimize vehicle utilization and transportation routes to reduce logistics costs and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, stores, warehouse, and merchandising teams for smooth material movement.
- Maintain attendance, shift schedules, performance records, and discipline of drivers and loadmen.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and continuous improvement practices in transport and logistics operations.
