Key Responsibilities
- Implement policies, resolutions, and ordinances adopted by the city council.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of city departments and agencies.
- Prepare and administer the city's annual budget.
- Manage city finances, including revenue, expenditures, and long-term financial planning.
- Supervise department heads and evaluate organizational performance.
- Recommend policies, programs, and strategic initiatives to elected officials.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national laws and regulations.
- Coordinate public infrastructure projects and community development initiatives.
- Respond to citizen concerns and maintain positive community relations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Lead emergency preparedness and crisis management efforts when needed.
- Foster economic development and support business growth within the city.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree often preferred).
- Several years of progressively responsible management experience in local government or public administration.
- Strong knowledge of municipal finance, budgeting, and government operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively with elected officials, staff, and community members.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
