Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) configuration and implementation. The ideal candidate should possess end-to-end understanding of financial business processes and be capable of translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions. The consultant will be responsible for configuration, support, testing, integration, and production support activities across SAP FI modules.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including:
o General Ledger (GL)
o Accounts Payable (AP)
o Accounts Receivable (AR)
o Asset Accounting (AA)
o Bank Accounting
- Perform end-to-end SAP FI configuration based on business requirements.
- Conduct business process analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design activities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes and recommend SAP best practices.
- Support integration with SAP MM, SD, and CO modules.
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) for custom developments and enhancements.
- Participate in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide production support and resolve incidents within defined SLA timelines.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and knowledge repositories.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration and support.
- Strong expertise in:
o General Ledger (GL)
o Accounts Payable (AP)
o Accounts Receivable (AR)
o Asset Accounting (AA)
o Bank Accounting
o New GL / SAP S/4HANA Finance
o Automatic Payment Program (APP)
o Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)
o Tax Configuration
- Understanding of SAP FI integration with MM, SD, and CO modules.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori applications.
- Knowledge of Interfaces and IDocs.
- Understanding of India GST and local taxation requirements.
- SAP FI Certification.
