About the Role
Invitronics is looking for a hands-on Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer to support the design and development of both medical consumables and electro-medical products.
The role involves working on:
- Medical consumables such as syringes, catheters, connectors, disposable plastic parts, and related products
- Mechanical design and enclosures for medical electronic devices such as patient monitors, pumps, handheld devices, and diagnostic systems
- Prototype development, DFM/DFA, and coordination with contract manufacturers
This is a startup-oriented product development role for someone who enjoys building products from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design medical consumables and plastic components
- Develop product enclosures and mechanical assemblies for medical devices
- Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
- Support rapid prototyping and product iteration
- Work on injection molding-friendly product design
- Coordinate with vendors, tooling partners, and contract manufacturers
- Support mechanical integration with hardware, firmware, and biomedical teams
- Improve product manufacturability, reliability, and assembly efficiency
- Participate in product concept development and engineering discussions
Required Skills
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks / Creo / Fusion 360 preferred)
- Good understanding of plastic product design and injection molding basics
- Knowledge of DFM/DFA and manufacturing processes
- Experience with product prototyping and mechanical assemblies
- Understanding of tolerances, fitment, and enclosure design
- Hands-on and practical engineering mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Background
- Mechanical / Mechatronics / Product Design Engineering
- Experience in medical devices, consumables, product development, plastics, or electromechanical products is preferred
- Candidates with strong prototype-building and manufacturing exposure will be preferred
