A company secretary is a vital link between the company and its Board of Directors, shareholders, government and regulatory authorities.
Roles and Responsibility
- Oversee corporate governance practices and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Organize and manage board meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, resolutions and assign action tasks
- Maintaining the statutory registers including the register of members. Ensuring that statutory forms are filled promptly
- Custody and use of the company seal.
- Liaise with external advisors and vendors as may be necessary Other Duties:
- To ensure that meetings comply with the organisation governing document and its procedures
- To maintain records including past and present office bearers.
- To ensure that publications such as annual reports and accounts, and their dissemination, comply with the organizations governing document and statutory requirements.
- To keep under review all legislative, regulatory and governance developments that might affect decision making or organization operations.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
