Job Description
Zimbex Computers & CCTV is looking for CCTV Technicians to join our service and installation team in Thiruvananthapuram.
The technician will be responsible for CCTV installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer-site service.
Freshers with basic CCTV/electronics knowledge are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Installation and configuration of CCTV cameras
- DVR/NVR installation and configuration
- IP camera installation and setup
- Cat6 cable laying, crimping and termination
- Basic LAN/network configuration
- Router and network switch configuration
- Mobile app and remote CCTV viewing setup
- CCTV troubleshooting and maintenance
- Identifying and resolving camera, DVR/NVR and networking issues
- Visiting customer locations for installation and service
- Testing CCTV systems and ensuring proper functioning
- Maintaining good communication and professional behaviour with customers
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems
- Understanding of networking and IP addresses
- Knowledge of DVR/NVR systems
- Basic computer hardware and networking knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
- Willingness to travel to customer locations
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
Experience & Salary
Fresher / Basic CCTV Knowledge:
₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month + incentives
1–2 Years CCTV Experience:
₹16,000 – ₹20,000 per month + incentives
Strong CCTV Technician + Networking Knowledge:
₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month + incentives
Highly Skilled / Independent Technician:
₹25,000+ per month depending on experience and performance
Preferred
- Two-wheeler
- Valid driving licence
- Previous CCTV installation/service experience
- Networking knowledge
