We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester with practical experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable testing web applications, identifying and documenting defects, creating test cases, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality software releases.
Practical knowledge of automation testing is an important requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Manual Testing including Functional, Regression, Smoke, UI/UX, and Integration Testing.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs effectively.
- Test web applications and responsive websites across different browsers and devices.
- Perform Automation Testing using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
- Develop and maintain basic automation scripts.
- Perform basic API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Conduct basic SQL/database testing and validate data when required.
- Understand and follow SDLC and STLC processes.
- Work with bug tracking/project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members to understand requirements and resolve defects.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
- Take ownership of assigned testing activities and ensure timely completion.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
- Practical experience with Automation Testing.
- Experience with one or more automation tools:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Cypress
- Similar automation frameworks
- Knowledge of test case and test scenario creation.
- Good understanding of bug reporting and defect life cycle.
- Experience testing web applications and responsive websites.
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing/Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Familiarity with Jira, Trello, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualification

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
