We are looking for a passionate, creative, and caring Pre-Primary Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and joyful learning environment for young children. The teacher will foster the overall development of students through play-based, experiential, and activity-oriented learning aligned with NEP 2020 and the CBSE Early Years Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Develop children's language, literacy, numeracy, social, emotional, and motor skills.
- Conduct storytelling, rhymes, music, art & craft, sensory play, and hands-on learning activities.
- Maintain daily classroom discipline using positive reinforcement.
- Observe, assess, and document each child's developmental progress.
- Prepare worksheets, teaching-learning materials (TLMs), and classroom displays.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
- Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, assemblies, and field trips.
- Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of learning resources.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in training programs and staff meetings.
- Maintain student records, attendance, portfolios, and ERP updates.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- NTT / Montessori / ECCEd / Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (Preferred).
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Experience
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in a Pre-Primary School will be preferred.
