We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman/Design Engineer with strong knowledge of CAD software and drafting fundamentals. The candidate should be capable of preparing accurate 2D and 3D drawings, managing design views, and ensuring proper detailing as per industry standards. The role requires good communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation.
- Ensure proper drawing detailing, dimensioning, and annotation as per standards.
- Manage and organize drawing views effectively for clarity and accuracy.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in drawings.
- Follow ISO standards for general tolerances in design and drafting work.
- Perform reverse engineering by creating drawings from physical components or samples.
- Maintain proper layering, line weights, and drafting conventions.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Maintain documentation and drawing revisions as per company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawing and drafting fundamentals.
- Knowledge of GD&T and ISO tolerance standards.
- Ability to create accurate 2D/3D models and technical drawings.
