Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, sambar, chutneys, upma, etc.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation as per company standards.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen as per FSSAI guidelines.
- Handle bulk cooking for industrial/production requirements.
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage.
- Follow SOPs related to food preparation and safety.
- Coordinate with supervisors and production team for daily requirements.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and cooked food.
- Maintain records of production if required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a South Indian Cook in hotels, catering, or food industry.
- Good knowledge of traditional South Indian recipes and cooking techniques.
- Experience in bulk cooking is preferred.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Team player with good discipline and work ethics.
