Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented PR Executive to manage public relations activities for our cybersecurity company. The role involves building brand awareness, communicating cybersecurity expertise, managing media relations, creating thought leadership content, and supporting campaigns that position the company as a trusted voice in the cybersecurity industry.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, an understanding of technology and cybersecurity concepts, and the ability to translate complex security topics into clear and engaging messages for media, customers, and industry audiences.
Key Responsibilities:Media Relations & PR Activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with technology journalists, cybersecurity publications, analysts, and industry influencers.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, newsletters, and corporate announcements.
- Coordinate media interviews, expert commentary opportunities, webinars, and industry events.
- Track media coverage, prepare PR reports, and analyze campaign performance.
- Identify opportunities for brand visibility through news features, interviews, and industry platforms.
Cybersecurity Content & Thought Leadership
- Create and edit content related to cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, data protection, compliance, and emerging technologies.
- Support executives with thought leadership articles, blogs, opinion pieces, and speaking opportunities.
- Convert technical cybersecurity insights into easy-to-understand communication for different audiences.
- Monitor cybersecurity news, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Brand Communication & Campaign Support
- Support PR campaigns, product launches, security awareness initiatives, and corporate announcements.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, product, and technical teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Assist in managing online reputation and brand presence.
- Support crisis communication plans during security incidents or reputation-related issues.
Event & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate participation in cybersecurity conferences, webinars, and industry events.
- Manage communication materials including presentations, media kits, and event collateral.
- Support partnerships with technology communities, research organizations, and industry groups.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, technology PR, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technology trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to simplify technical information into engaging content.
- Strong research, organizational, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with B2B technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity brands.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity topics such as ransomware, cloud security, threat intelligence, SOC, vulnerability management, and data privacy.
- Experience managing media relations with technology publications.
- Knowledge of digital PR, social media communication, and content marketing.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Quality and volume of media coverage.
- Growth in brand visibility within cybersecurity communities.
- Number of successful media engagements and thought leadership placements.
- Effectiveness of PR campaigns and communication initiatives.
- Engagement with cybersecurity audiences and stakeholders.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
