Purchase Manager –
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with strong expertise in electrical procurement, specifically in cables, wires, poles, and highway/street lighting materials. The candidate will be responsible for vendor sourcing, cost optimization, and ensuring timely procurement for infrastructure and highway lighting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of electrical materials including:
- Cables (LT/HT)
- Wires
- Poles (GI/Octagonal/High Mast)
- Street lighting systems and accessories
- Develop and manage vendor network for electrical and highway lighting components
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for cost efficiency and quality
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Prepare and process purchase orders as per project requirements
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with project/site teams
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and material availability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Maintain documentation for all procurement activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement of electrical materials
- Proven experience in highway/street lighting or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- Electrical materials (cables, poles, lighting systems)
- Vendor sourcing and evaluation
- Experience working with EPC contractors or infrastructure companies is preferred

Preferred Experience
- Experience in highway projects, smart city projects, or government tenders
- Familiarity with standards related to street lighting and electrical infrastructure
Working shift
Monday to Saturday (10 AM to 7 PM)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
