About the Opportunity:
The Associate Auditor supports the execution of internal audit and risk management activities by assisting in control testing, documentation, and walkthroughs. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build foundational audit knowledge and develop toward independent audit execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of control testing, including gathering and validating supporting evidence.
- Support audit planning activities and help identify key risks and controls
- Perform basic analysis of control effectiveness and escalate potential issues
- Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation in accordance with audit standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned audit procedures on time
- Support remediation validation efforts where applicable
- Build working relationships with audit team members and control owners
- Communicate information/clarification requests clearly and professionally
- Participating in meetings and walkthrough discussions with guidance
Audit Knowledge & Skills
- Basic to hands-on understanding of audit concepts, including walkthroughs, control testing, and documentation
- Familiarity with internal controls and risk management principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to learn audit tools, methodologies, and frameworks
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0-4 years of internal and/or external audit or similar experience
- Ability to work under supervision with guidance from senior team members.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation, relationship building and interaction skills
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Working Environment & Physical Demands
- Remote work environment
- Able to potentially travel up to 10% of the year
- Working hours: 2 pm-11 pm IST
