Role Description
We are looking for a smart, energetic, and customer-focused Business Growth Intern to join our team in Mumbai. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on exposure to sales, marketing, business development, and customer success.
As a Business Growth Intern, you will identify new business opportunities, connect with potential customers, conduct market research, and support sales and marketing initiatives. You will actively engage with prospects through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, meetings, and field visits while also assisting existing customers to ensure a great experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, is willing to travel for client meetings and events, and wants to build a career in business, sales, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through research, networking, cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Approach prospective customers and schedule meetings or product demonstrations.
- Visit clients and attend business meetings, events, and exhibitions whenever required.
- Support sales, marketing, and business development activities to drive company growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers.
- Assist customers by addressing queries, collecting feedback, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify business opportunities and industry trends.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, reports, and other business documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support client onboarding and project execution.
- Maintain CRM records and track sales activities, follow-ups, and customer interactions.
- Contribute ideas to improve customer engagement, business growth, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Freshers are welcome).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Smart, confident, and outgoing personality.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable making cold calls and speaking with new people.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, networking events, and business development activities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
Preferred Skills
- Sales, marketing, or customer service experience (internships or academic projects are a plus).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM tools, or digital marketing platforms is an advantage.
- Interest in technology, AI, digital products, or innovative business solutions.
