The General Manager – Fleet is responsible for ensuring maximum fleet availability and operational efficiency to support uninterrupted coal production and transportation activities across mining sites. The role includes fleet management, inter-departmental coordination, site issue resolution, conflict management, safety compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations.
* Ensure maximum availability and utilization of all mining and coal transportation equipment/fleet.
* Monitor performance, productivity, breakdowns, and operational efficiency of dumpers, tippers, excavators, loaders, dozers, water tankers, and support vehicles.
* Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
* Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repair and servicing of equipment.
* Maintain adequate spare parts inventory and ensure proper workshop management.
* Monitor fuel consumption, tyre performance, equipment health, and operational costs.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
