We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team for Government Construction Projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and supervising civil construction activities while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Candidates with proven experience in Government projects will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all on-site civil construction activities.
- Ensure project execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Government Authorities.
- Plan, monitor, and control daily construction activities to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with Government regulations, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Review structural drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
- Monitor RCC works, finishing works, infrastructure development, and overall civil execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and quality standards are maintained.
- Verify measurements, quantities, billing records, and work completion reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
- Manage manpower, construction materials, machinery, and site resources efficiently.
- Coordinate project inspections, approvals, and documentation with Government departments and consultants.
- Ensure proper maintenance of project records, drawings, material reports, and quality documentation.
- Support timely project completion while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of RCC works, structural works, finishing works, and infrastructure development.
- Excellent understanding of BOQ, AutoCAD drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Experience in contractor management, site coordination, and project execution.
- Knowledge of construction quality standards, safety regulations, and Government compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Government buildings, institutional, infrastructure, or public works projects.
- Knowledge of project planning and execution methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple construction activities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
