Job Summary:
Looking for Technical Support Engineer to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure components including CCTV systems, networking devices, firewalls, wireless access points, desktops, laptops, and printers. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide onsite and remote support.
Key Responsibilities:CCTV Systems
- Install, configure, and commission IP/Analog CCTV systems.
- Configure NVRs, DVRs, IP Cameras, VMS software, and recording storage.
- Troubleshoot camera connectivity, video quality, recording, and network issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and health checks.
Networking
- Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, VLANs, and LAN connectivity.
- Perform IP addressing, subnetting, cable testing, and network diagnostics.
- Configure and maintain wireless access points.
- Resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
Firewall
- Configure firewall policies and basic security rules.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity through firewall appliances.
- Monitor firewall health and report security incidents.
Wireless Access Points
- Install and configure enterprise wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi coverage, roaming, and authentication issues.
- Optimize wireless performance.
Desktop, Laptop & Printer Support
- Install and configure Windows operating systems.
- Install software, drivers, antivirus, and productivity applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Install and configure network and USB printers.
- Perform system upgrades, backup, and preventive maintenance.
General Responsibilities
- Attend service calls within SLA timelines.
- Maintain service reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with OEMs for warranty and hardware replacement.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues.
- Provide end-user technical support.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and spares.
