Job Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations related to workforce deployment, client coordination, onboarding, compliance, and operational administration. The role is critical in ensuring efficient manpower supply, high client satisfaction, and operational excellence across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
● Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
● Ensure timely deployment of manpower to client locations.
● Handle client concerns and resolve operational issues promptly.
● Maintain strong and professional client relationships.
Operations & Coordination
● Plan, organize, and supervise workforce deployment activities.
● Coordinate with HR and recruitment teams for manpower availability.
● Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance of deployed employees.
● Ensure smooth operational execution as per company standards.
Team Management
● Lead and supervise coordinators, supervisors, and support staff.
● Provide guidance, training, and performance support.
● Promote discipline, teamwork, and accountability.
Compliance & Documentation
● Ensure compliance with labour laws and client-specific regulations.
● Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance, and reports.
● Support audits and ensure proper documentation practices.
Logistics & Scheduling
● Coordinate transportation, accommodation, and shift scheduling.
● Optimize resource utilization and monitor operational costs.
Reporting & Analysis
● Prepare operational reports and deployment status updates.
● Analyse operational data and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
● BTech in Civil or Electrical engineering/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
● Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in manpower supply or staffing industry.
● Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
● Knowledge of labour laws, workforce management, and compliance requirements.
● Proficiency in MS Office and workforce management software.
● Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
● Experience managing blue-collar workforce deployment.
● Fluency in Malayalam, English, and Hindi.
● Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) practices.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
