Job Title: Graphic Designer

Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our publishing and pagination team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, formatting, and preparing books, magazines, brochures, reports, catalogs, and other publishing materials for print and digital delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and format books, magazines, brochures, catalogs, reports, and other publications.
- Create page layouts, cover designs, illustrations, graphics, and visual elements.
- Perform pagination and typesetting according to project specifications and client requirements.
- Work with text, images, tables, charts, and other content to create professional layouts.
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, typography, color balance, and overall visual consistency.
- Review and correct design and formatting errors before final delivery.
- Prepare files for printing and digital publishing in the required formats.
- Make revisions and updates based on client or internal feedback.
- Follow brand guidelines, design standards, and publishing specifications.
- Collaborate with editors, content teams, proofreaders, and project managers.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Ensure final artwork is accurate, high-quality, and production-ready.
- Maintain organized design files and follow proper file-naming and version-control procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong knowledge of page layout, pagination, typesetting, and graphic design.
- Good understanding of typography, fonts, color theory, and design principles.
- Experience in print and digital publishing workflows.
- Knowledge of PDF creation, prepress, and print-ready file preparation.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in graphic design, publishing, pagination, or DTP.
- Experience working with publishing houses, paginator companies, or print production teams.
- Knowledge of EPUB, digital publishing, or accessibility standards will be an added advantage.
