Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications to meet evolving business requirements. This includes adapting features, managing software releases, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system. The role requires working with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to address challenges and optimize application functionality is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the application environment.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of packaged application management.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Strong knowledge of configuring and customizing SaaS applications to meet business needs.
- Experience working with APIs and integration tools to ensure seamless connectivity between systems.
- Ability to utilize low-code platforms for efficient application development and modification.
- Familiarity with release management processes and ensuring system stability during updates.
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in a timely manner.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
