Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to prepare electrical designs and documentation for LT control panels, including General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), control schematics, BOM, and manufacturing drawings while ensuring compliance with IEC and IS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings for modular electrical control panels.
- Design Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for LT panels.
- Develop control wiring schematics and electrical circuit diagrams.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and component schedules.
- Select electrical components such as MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, and terminal blocks.
- Design layouts for PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, and distribution panels.
- Prepare cable schedules, terminal plans, and wire numbering.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and quality teams.
- Revise drawings based on customer comments and site requirements.
- Maintain design documentation and revision records.
Required Skills
- AutoCAD Electrical (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of GA, SLD, and control schematic preparation
- Understanding of IEC 61439, IS standards, and electrical safety
- BOM preparation
- Electrical load calculations
- Panel component selection
- Microsoft Excel and Word
Preferred Software
- AutoCAD Electrical
- EPLAN Electric P8 (Preferred)
- SEE Electrical (Optional)
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 1–5 years in Electrical Control Panel Design
- Experience in PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, and VFD panel design preferred.

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
