For this role, you'll be employed by AllianceTech and work as a dedicated member of the engineering team building RebelBase.

As a member of the engineering team, you'll help build and evolve a product that has a direct impact on entrepreneurs around the world.

We're looking for an engineer—not someone tied to a particular language or framework.
You enjoy solving challenging problems, learning new technologies, and building products that people love to use. You're comfortable working across the stack, take ownership of your work, and write clean, maintainable software.
You embrace AI as a tool to improve your productivity, while understanding that great engineering still requires critical thinking, good judgment, and accountability for the code you ship.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain features across the full application stack.
- Build intuitive user experiences and scalable backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high engineering standards.
- Debug and solve problems across the frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to continuously improve the product.
- Help improve our architecture, tooling, and engineering practices.
What Will Help You Succeed
Required
- Professional experience building production software (typically 3+ years).
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Experience building modern web applications.
- Comfortable learning new languages, frameworks, and technologies.
- Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git, testing, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience using AI development tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or similar) effectively.
- Strong written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
These are a bonus—not requirements.
- Experience with React.
- Experience with Elixir and Phoenix.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience building AI-powered features or integrating LLM APIs.
- Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms.
