Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Tester . The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in manual and/or automation testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery by identifying defects, validating requirements, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Execute database validation using SQL queries.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts (preferred).
- Ensure timely delivery of quality software releases.
- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in manual testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Experience with API testing (Postman or similar).
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
