1. Operate conventional lathe machines safely and efficiently.
2. Perform turning, facing, threading, boring, knurling, taper turning, and grooving operations.
3. Select proper cutting tools, inserts, and tool holders and set correct speeds, feeds, and depth of cuts.
4. Read and understand engineering drawings and job cards, ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per drawing.
5. Perform proper machine setup for new jobs and Set tool offsets and work coordinates.
6. Measure components using vernier callipers, micrometres, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
7. Identify and correct machining errors, perform daily machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
8. Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, and the quality team.
Pay: ₹10,698.89 - ₹26,724.13 per month
