Position Title: Electronics Service Technician

About the Role
We are searching for a reliable Electronics Service Technician to join our team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing audio amplifiers, speakers, audio mixers, moving head lights, and LED stage lights. The ideal candidate will have expertise in reading manuals, installing new equipment, performing routine servicing and inspections, and reporting to the supervisor. You should be able to provide excellent customer service and manage electronic systems and equipment efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems – audio amplifiers, speakers, moving head lights, and LED lights
- Source or fabricate replacement parts for electronic systems
- Coordinate with supervisors and customers to discuss work schedules, timelines, and material cost estimates
- Perform equipment demonstrations and draw up training manuals wherever required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or ITI diploma in Engineering or Electronics
- Highly skilled and experienced in soldering of circuit boards
- Experience in reading electronic schematics and following signal chain to diagnose faulty components
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills
- Passion for electronics
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
Experience Required
- Work experience: Minimum 3 years
- Servicing audio-visual equipment including soldering of PCB: 1 year
