Key Responsibilities
- Editing Footage: Sifting through raw footage, trimming segments, combining clips, and arranging them into a cohesive narrative.
- Audio/Visual Enhancement: Adding music, sound effects, dialogue, text overlays, and visual effects (VFX).
- Collaboration: Working closely with directors, producers, and marketing teams to understand vision and brand guidelines.
- Technical Execution: Using editing software (like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to assemble, manipulate, and optimize videos for various platforms (social, web, broadcast).
- Quality Control: Reviewing for mistakes, ensuring continuity, and making revisions based on feedback.
- Storytelling: Crafting engaging visual narratives that resonate with target audiences.
Essential Skills & Tools
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing.
- Technical skills in audio mixing, color correction, and motion graphics.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure/deadlines.
