Role description
We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Lead with strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins to lead large-scale cloud transformation and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with strong leadership capabilities to drive enterprise cloud programs, provide architectural guidance, mentor teams, and ensure successful delivery of cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale cloud transformation and modernization initiatives across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Design, implement, and govern scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-optimized AWS cloud architectures.
- Drive cloud migration, modernization, landing zone, multi-account, and hybrid cloud initiatives.
- Define architecture standards, cloud governance frameworks, and technology strategies.
- Lead planning, execution, risk management, dependency management, and delivery governance for enterprise cloud programs.
- Implement and manage infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform.
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation using Jenkins.
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, operations, and business teams to deliver cloud solutions.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security, governance, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence principles.
- Drive cloud cost optimization, platform reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering and architecture teams.
- Manage stakeholder communication, technical decisions, program dependencies, and delivery milestones.
