Job Summary
The Captain manages, operates, and supervises the food and beverage sections and/or outlets under the guidance and instruction of the Supervisor or Manager. The role involves serving guests according to orders in a courteous, professional, and attentive manner. The Captain ensures the highest level of guest satisfaction while following the organization’s policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Implements policies and procedures under the guidance of the Supervisor/Manager.
- Monitors staff’s achievement of goals continuously.
- Professionally involved in operations; supervises, directs, guides, and corrects staff.
- Builds and promotes a professional and efficient team within the service and the restaurant.
- Informs guests about products, food, beverages, and the organization in general.
- Establishes and maintains efficient and effective communication with supporting departments within the restaurant.
- Assists all juniors in the execution of orders at all times.
- Keeps updated on new happenings and promotions within the outlet and communicates them to guests.
- Maintains a high level of staff morale and discipline in the area of operation.
- Ensures cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and maintenance of the restaurant.
- Ensures staff report on duty on time and comply with appearance and grooming standards.
- Ensures awareness and implementation of organizational regulations, policies, and procedures regarding hygiene, fire, and safety.
- Ensures skills and technical knowledge are kept up to date at all times.
- Obtains customer feedback and gathers necessary information to improve food, beverage products, and performance.
- Maintains and develops professional relationships with employees at all levels within the department and organization.
- Attends daily departmental briefings.
- Reports on duty at the time assigned by the Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
