We are a #1 dealer for TVS brand fasteners and a few other dealerships of renowned allied products, operating out of Coimbatore and Chennai for over 2 decades.
We require candidates with DME/BE with a minimum of 4-5 years' experience as a QC Engineer handling fasteners and allied products for our Coimbatore location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections on fasteners and allied products using measuring devices and testing tools like calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
- Conduct regular inspections on incoming materials, raw materials, finished goods, and electroplated materials.
- Compliance to ISO standards and designated SOPs with regard to test plans and quality control procedures.
- Investigate defects using structured problem-solving tools like Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, and FEMA.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, non-conformance reports (NCR), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) plans to ensure traceability during audits.
- Conduct Pre dispatch Inspection and report results and also maintain all records.
- Should be willing to visit local suppliers whenever required to inspect materials and clear them prior to purchase at suppliers’ premises.
- Should be able to interpret blueprints/technical drawings.
- Should possess strong communication skills liaising with cross-functional teams (stores, operations, dispatch and management)
- Should be capable of communicating with suppliers to sort out shortages, items interchange, delays, etc.
- Should have good computer knowledge in maintaining relevant records in Excel & Google sheets.
Will be reporting to Manager-Quality
In addition to salary, PF/ESI/Bonus/Earned Leave will be applicable.
Yearly Increments depends on meeting KPIs and having good work attitude.
