Pre-Operative Duties
- Prepare OT as per surgery schedule
- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments
- Check functionality of OT & anesthesia equipment
- Prepare anesthesia workstation (machine, circuits, gases)
- Assist in patient identification, positioning, and shifting
- Ensure availability of drugs, IV fluids, airway devices
Anesthesia Support
- Assist anesthesiologist during induction and intubation
- Prepare and handle:
- Laryngoscope, ET tubes, LMAs
- Suction and oxygen supply
- Monitor basic parameters (BP, SpO₂, ECG) under supervision
- Maintain anesthesia records as directed
- Ensure emergency drugs and crash cart readiness
Intra-Operative Duties
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments
- Maintain sterile field throughout procedure
- Troubleshoot OT/anesthesia equipment if required
- Ensure continuous supply of sterile items and consumables
Post-Operative Duties
- Assist in shifting patient to recovery room (PACU)
- Clean and disinfect OT after procedures
- Send instruments for CSSD sterilization
- Dispose biomedical waste as per protocols
- Replenish OT supplies and drugs
Equipment Handling
- Anesthesia machine & ventilator
- Multipara monitors
- Defibrillator & crash cart
- Suction apparatus
- Surgical instruments & OT lights
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain OT checklists and anesthesia logs
- Adhere to infection control protocols
- Follow NABH / hospital safety standards
- Assist in audits and quality checks
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
