Job Description: Mid-Level SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant
Location: Chennai (Onsite)

Role Nature: Support & Implementation Associate
Position Summary
We are looking for a hands-on SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant with strong functional fundamentals and a willingness to grow into an end-to-end consultant.
This role involves working closely with senior consultants to support implementation and AMS activities, while gradually taking ownership of modules and delivering quality outputs in a multi-project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform configuration and support activities for:
o General Ledger (GL)
o Accounts Payable (AP)
o Accounts Receivable (AR)
Support Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation processes
Handle AMS support, including issue resolution and minor enhancements
Execute data migration and reconciliation activities
Assist in integration testing (MM, SD, PP)
Support GST and e-Invoicing operations, including resolving transaction issues
Participate in testing (UT/UAT) and documentation preparation
Support month-end and year-end financial activities
Core Functional Skills
o GL, AP, AR configuration
o Fixed Assets (basic lifecycle understanding)
o Bank Reconciliation (BRS – manual process)
o Cost Center / Profit Center
o Budgeting support activities
Statutory Knowledge
o GST (basic configuration / operations)
o e-Invoicing process (transaction level understanding)
o Basic statutory compliance requirements
Techno-Functional Skills
Basic ABAP debugging knowledge (breakpoints, basic issue analysis)
Exposure to:
o Data migration tools (Migration Cockpit / LSMW)
o Interfaces and reports (basic understanding)
o Fiori apps (Finance-related)
Implementation Experience
At least 2 end-to-end implementation OR strong AMS + implementation exposure
Hands-on experience in configuration (not only support tickets)
Requirements
4–7 years of SAP FICO experience
Strong hands-on involvement in project delivery
Ability to work in implementation + AMS environments
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
Finance background is preferred
Preferred Skills
Exposure to SD / PP integration
Experience in data migration activities
Basic understanding of S/4HANA environment
