Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented LiDAR Executive to join our geospatial team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in LiDAR data processing, point cloud classification, GIS mapping, and geospatial data analysis. The candidate will be responsible for processing, validating, and delivering high-quality LiDAR datasets for various mapping, surveying, mining, and infrastructure projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesLiDAR Data Processing & Analysis
- Process and analyze LiDAR datasets using industry-standard software.
- Perform point cloud classification and advanced classification techniques.
- Execute mobile LiDAR data processing workflows.
- Conduct tile-to-tile edge matching and data alignment.
- Perform Ground Control Point (GCP) matching and validation.
- Carry out point cloud transformation and coordinate system conversions.
- Perform trajectory matching and track-to-track alignment.
- Process and classify mining area LiDAR data.
- Prepare mining survey reports and technical documentation.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance checks on processed data.
GIS & Mapping Activities
- Generate geospatial datasets, maps, and terrain models.
- Support topographic mapping, corridor mapping, utility mapping, and mining projects.
- Maintain project documentation and workflow records.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of outputs.

Candidate Requirements
- Strong understanding of LiDAR processing workflows and point cloud classification.
- Experience handling large-scale LiDAR datasets.
- Good knowledge of GIS, mapping, surveying, and geospatial concepts.
- Ability to perform data validation, quality checks, and report preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Geomatics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Surveying, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
- Experience in mining, topographic mapping, corridor mapping, utility mapping, or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
