Job Title: Accountant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented, and proactive Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make sound financial decisions while ensuring compliance with Indian taxation laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle online banking transactions, fund transfers, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain GST returns, TDS, and ensure full compliance with Indian taxation regulations.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and vendor payments.
- Prepare financial reports, cash flow statements, and MIS reports.
- Monitor company expenses and assist management in making informed financial decisions.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities whenever required.
- Maintain accurate records using Tally Prime software.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime (mandatory).
- Experience in online banking and financial transaction management.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound financial decisions.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications (Plus Point):
- Previous experience in the Hospitality Industry or Travel Agency.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
