About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced café environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based beverages to a high standard
- Operate coffee equipment (espresso machine, grinder, etc.) efficiently and safely
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all drinks
- Engage with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar and workstations at all times
- Handle daily opening and closing duties
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
