Role Description
Hands-on Electronics Documentation & Obsolescence Trainee responsible for supporting the hardware design team in electronic component identification, component obsolescence checking, BOM verification, alternate component identification, and preparation of electrical wiring and interconnection diagrams.
The selected candidate will be trained on electronic components, datasheets, schematics, BOMs, component lifecycle management, obsolescence monitoring, and electrical wiring documentation for embedded, industrial, rugged, and defence/aerospace electronic products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of Analog & Digital Electronics.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, ICs, connectors, relays, inductors, crystals, and power modules.
- Ability to identify electronic components and understand basic component specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret basic electronic schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Basic understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) and component part numbers.
- Basic knowledge of electronic component manufacturers and datasheets.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, cable assemblies, connectors, and pinouts is an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn component lifecycle and obsolescence management

- Good communication and coordination skills.
