Quality Engineer

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of engineering drawings, measuring instruments, GD&T, and surface treatment inspection. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection and adherence to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
- Inspect components as per GD&T requirements.
- Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Inspect components before and after surface treatment processes (Powder Coating, Painting, Plating, Anodizing, etc.).
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Identify quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company quality procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of engineering drawing reading.
- Hands-on knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Understanding of GD&T.
- Knowledge of surface treatment processes.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge or experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
