We are looking for a creative, detail oriented Video Editor Intern who already has a solid grasp of the cutting room floor and is ready to take their skills to the next level. This isn't a "go get coffee" internship you will be diving straight into creating high-impact content for our digital channels, social media, and marketing campaigns.
If you have about a year of editing experience under your belt, know your way around a timeline, and have a sharp eye for pacing, storytelling, and trends, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble & Edit: Assemble raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos (ranging from short-form to longer-form brand videos
- Enhance Content: Elevate videos with seamless transitions, basic color grading, sound design, audio cleanup, and dynamic text/motion graphics.
- Format Optimization: Re-purpose and optimize existing video assets into various formats tailored for specific social media platforms (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
- Collaborate: Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm concepts, understand project briefs, and bring scripts to life.
- Asset Management: Keep project files, backups, and media assets organized and easily accessible.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: Around 1 year of proven video editing experience (freelance, previous internships, or a robust personal portfolio).
- Software Proficiency: High proficiency in industry-standard software primarily Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Basic knowledge of After Effects (for text animations) and Photoshop is a major plus.
- The "Good at Editing" Factor: A strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling. You know how to hook an audience in the first 3 seconds.
- Audio Aware: Good ear for music selection, sound effects (SFX), and balancing audio levels.
- Platform Savvy: Up-to-date with current social media video trends, formats, and platform restrictions.
- Reliability: Ability to take feedback constructively, hit deadlines, and manage your time effectively.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
