Job Summary:
A Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in computer systems and databases. The role requires attention to detail, typing proficiency, and the ability to handle confidential information efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter data from source documents into databases, spreadsheets, or company software.
- Verify and review data for accuracy and completeness.
- Update and maintain records, files, and databases.
- Correct data inconsistencies and errors.
- Generate reports and retrieve information as requested.
- Organize and manage digital and physical records.
- Ensure data confidentiality and security.
- Coordinate with team members and departments to obtain missing information.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly productivity targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred for some organizations).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data management software.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
