Job Summary
We are seeking a confident and clear-speaking Academic Counselor to join our admissions team. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for prospective students and their parents. Your primary focus will be connecting with students over the phone, welcoming and guiding in-person walk-ins, explaining our course offerings, and managing the complete admission and fee payment process. If you have excellent communication skills, a friendly personality, and a knack for helping people make the right career choices, you will thrive in this position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Outreach & Lead Management
· Proactive Calling: Connect with prospective students daily via tele-calling to pitch available courses, programs, and certifications.
· Lead Conversion: Follow up diligently with old and new leads generated through digital marketing, websites, and data campaigns.
· Query Resolution: Clear all doubts regarding course duration, curriculum, career prospects, eligibility criteria, and fee structures.
2. In-Person Counselling & Walk-ins
· Walk-In Management: Warmly receive and attend to students and parents who visit the campus or office.
· Face-to-Face Counselling: Conduct detailed, one-on-one counselling sessions to understand the student's career aspirations and recommend the most suitable academic path.
· Campus Tours: Guide visitors around the facility/campus to highlight infrastructure, classrooms, and student life, maximizing the chances of enrolment.
3. Admissions & Documentation
· End-to-End Admission: Own the entire enrolment workflow, assisting students with form filling, application submissions, and batch allocations.
· Document Verification: Collect, review, and verify students' academic transcripts, identification proof, and eligibility certificates to ensure absolute compliance with institutional norms.
4. Fee Collection & Payment Handling
· Payment Processing: Securely handle financial transactions, including registration fees, tuition deposits, and payments.
· Receipting: Issue official receipts, maintain physical/digital logs of all collected amounts, and coordinate closely with the accounts department.
· Refund Guidance: Explain fee structures, scholarship criteria, and refund policies clearly to maintain transparency.
Qualification: - Any Degree
