A Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products or services, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets set by the management.
- Monitor personal sales performance and work towards continuous improvement.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide suitable product or service solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Lead Generation & Business Development
- Identify potential customers and generate new sales leads.
- Conduct market visits, follow-ups, and product presentations.
- Expand the customer base in the assigned territory.
4. Product Knowledge & Promotion
- Maintain strong knowledge of company products/services.
- Explain product features, benefits, and pricing to customers.
- Promote company products through demonstrations and presentations.
5. Sales Reporting
- Maintain proper records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
- Update CRM or sales management systems regularly.
6. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Coordinate with operations, service, and accounts teams for order processing and customer support.
- Ensure timely delivery of products or services.
7. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Provide feedback to management for product or strategy improvements.
