The Planning Incharge will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and progress control for construction projects. The role involves preparing baseline schedules, monitoring project progress, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones while maintaining cost and resource efficiency.
Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Develop baseline schedules, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), and project timelines.
Identify critical path activities and monitor schedule risks.
Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against baseline plans.
Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and progress presentations for management review.
Conduct delay analysis and recovery planning.
Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, and subcontract teams to ensure alignment with the project schedule.
Participate in project review meetings and planning discussions.
Assist in resource loading, manpower planning, and equipment planning.
Support cost monitoring and productivity analysis in coordination with project controls.
Prepare weekly/monthly planning reports.
Maintain look-ahead schedules (2-week / 3-week plans).
Update project schedules and provide early warnings for potential delays.
Strong working knowledge of:
Knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing.
Understanding of EVM (Earned Value Management) is preferred.
