Job Summary
The Store Keeper / Inventory Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of raw materials, hardware, consumables, finished goods, and packing materials used in the manufacturing of FRP doors. The role ensures inventory accuracy, timely material availability for production, and efficient coordination with the Purchase, Production, Quality, Dispatch, and Accounts departments.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Store Operations
- Receive and inspect incoming materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Invoices.
- Ensure proper unloading, identification, labelling, and storage of all materials.
- Maintain separate storage locations for raw materials, hardware, consumables, packing materials, and finished goods.
- Issue materials to the production department based on approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Record all inward and outward stock transactions accurately in the inventory software.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the Purchase Department for timely replenishment.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) wherever applicable.
Stock Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, or excess stock.
- Assist during internal and external stock audits.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
- Maintain dispatch records and update inventory after every dispatch.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily stock movement reports.
- Generate inventory, consumption, and stock ageing reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of Material Requisition Slips (MRS) and Stock Transfer records.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department for inventory-related documentation and reconciliation.
Store Maintenance & Compliance
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store premises.
- Store materials in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Protect inventory from damage, deterioration, or unauthorized access.
- Comply with all company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Understanding of stock control procedures, FIFO, and inventory reconciliation.
- Good numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
