Job Summary:
Hiring for a manufacturing company located in Mumbai. The Purchase Executive / Engineer will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for production.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Handle purchase activities for SS fabrication and stainless steel raw materials.
2.Source vendors, collect quotations and prepare comparison sheets.
3.Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, delivery and material follow-up.
4.Create purchase orders and maintain purchase documentation.
5.Candidates should have knowledge of SS pipes, sheets, plates, flanges and related stainless steel products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field
- Experience in purchase/procurement role preferred
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of vendor management and inventory processes
- Familiarity with MS Excel and ERP systems is an advantage
